Injustice has been done to him in the most senseless way. The ax-man arrives and our lamb is inadvertently sent to the great beyond where he meets the fifth god, betrayed and imprisoned by the others, and asks for your help in attacking back those who have killed both of you. It is distraught and fearful and as we find that it is also the last of its kind, all the other lambs have already been sacrificed to please the four lowly, bloodthirsty gods. The game starts when you guide the lamb to the slaughter. The balance between charming and rebellious is at the heart of Cult of the Lamb, not only in its beauty, but pervasive in the entire story, gameplay, systems, and decisions you make.

we mean really justified See In this – poring over the screen over details, and watching our cult woodland creatures go about their daily lives happily, doing acts that are sometimes healthy and sometimes disgusting. This is a game that we have seen time and again during our time.
#CULT OF THE LAMB ANIMATION FULL#
But then the world in which Lamb lives is full of strange and elderly creatures, and the game is full of pseudo-satanic imagery. Lamb is an instantly sympathetic character, both because it’s cute and because of the stellar animation that gives it a consistent boom, not unlike many cartoon characters from the early years of animation. It is an unholy mish-mash of the pure and the profane.

The art style of the cult of lamb is really fascinating. Only a handful of small catches keep it away from true greatness, but we have no hesitation in recommending the game to anyone who has a penchant for the weird or the terrifying. It’s a title that often delights with catchy vocals, gruesome gameplay, and a cavalier approach to taste and decency. It had us thrilled in under a minute, and we remained excited for most of our 20 or so hours with the game.

Few games make a first impression as strong as Cult of Lambs.
